Guardian of a Student Visitor Visa

If your child is in New Zealand on a student visa, this visa allows you, as a parent or legal guardian, to stay with them and provide care during their studies.

Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa

Child of a Student Visitor Visa

Dependent children (aged 19 or younger) can visit a parent who is studying in New Zealand. They can study for up to 3 months on this visa.

Child of a Worker Visitor Visa

If you hold a New Zealand work visa, your dependent children can visit you and stay for up to 3 months, with options to extend their stay.

Child of a New Zealander Visitor Visa

This visa permits your dependant children who live abroad to stay with you in New Zealand for a maximum of nine months if you are a citizen or resident of the country. 

Dependent Child Student Visa

This visa allows your dependent children to study at a primary or secondary school in New Zealand. The parent must hold an eligible work or student visa.

Dependent Child Resident Visa

If you are New Zealand citizen or resident, your non New Zealand resident child can apply for resident visa to enjoy the benefits of living, studying, and working here

For Partners:

Culturally Arranged Marriage Visitor Visa

If you have recently married a New Zealand citizen or resident in a traditional arranged marriage, or plan to marry in New Zealand, you may be eligible for this 3-month visitor visa. This visa allows you to enter New Zealand and begin living with your partner, with the possibility of applying for a longer-term partnership visa later.

Partner of a Student Visitor Visa

If your partner is studying in New Zealand, you can visit them on this visa for the duration of their study.

Partner of a Student Work Visa

This visa allows you to work in New Zealand if your partner is studying a Level 7 or 8 qualification (on the Green List) or any Level 9 or 10 qualification.

Partner of a Worker Visitor Visa

If your partner holds a New Zealand work visa, this visa allows you to join them and stay for the same duration as their work visa.

Partner of a Worker Work Visa

This visa allows you to work in New Zealand while your partner holds a work visa, giving you employment flexibility.
